We offer recreational baseball leagues for players from 5 years old - 6th grade. Our rec season runs from April to late June. For those seeking a more competitive level of play, we offer a competitive league option (JBO) for players starting in 3rd grade.
*Player must be within the designated age group as defined in the 2025 Spring Baseball Age Chart.
Age/Grade Breakdown:
Ages 5-6: MYB Recreational T-Ball
Season: April – Late-June
- ~12 games per season, played at Weddle Elementary School on Saturday mornings.
- 1-2 weeknight practices per week. Exact practice day is up to the coach's personal schedule.
- A great way to know when your child will be practicing is to sign up as a coach!
Grades 1-2: MYB Recreational Coach Pitch
Season: April – Late-June
- ~12 games per season, played mostly at Claggett Creek Middle School and mostly on Saturday mornings.
- 2 weeknight practices per week. Exact practice days are up to the coach's personal schedule.
- A great way to know when your child will be practicing is to sign up as a coach!
Grades 3-4: Recreational Minors Kid-Pitch (Register and Play through Keizer Little League)
Season: April – Late-June
- ~16 games per season played in Keizer and Salem area.
- Home games played at Keizer Little League Park.
- 3 team events per week on weeknights. 2 Practices/1 Game or 1 Practice/2 Games.
- Post-Season opportunities available up to "State" level.
- Both boys and girls are allowed in this division but to clarify this is baseball, not softball.
Grades 5-6: Recreational Majors Kid-Pitch (Played through Keizer Little League, Register with MYB)
Season: April – Late-June
- ~16 games per season played in Keizer and Salem area.
- Home games played at Keizer Little League Park.
- 3 team events per week on weeknights. 2 Practices/1 Game or 1 Practice/2 Games.
- Post-Season opportunities available up to "State" level.

MYB Recreational league games are April to Late June. Age brackets are designed to improve player development by keeping like ages / skill levels together. For example, this enables 9-10 year olds to gain the experience they need to develop their pitching / catching / infield skills without having older kids competing in this same age group.
